Aughnamullen Notes

LOTTO  RESULTS: Lotto Results for Sunday last. Numbers drawn were 07,16, 20 & 28. There was No winner. Next weeks Jackpot now stands at €3,800. House Draw Winners: Christopher Geoghegan, Ann Flannagan & Edel Mc Mahon. Lucky Draw Winners: Alice & Lilly Coyle, Jack Dooney, Conor Mc Keown, Elizabeth Byrne, Mark Mc Ardle, Eileen Ward & Tom Byrne.
Next weeks team: Eddie Mc Ardle, Packie Ward, Tom Leanagh & Lee Conlon. 
Lotto teams that cannot do their night must organize someone to fill their space. 
 
SENIORS: Next game is away to Inniskeen on Friday the 8th of April at 8pm in the Monaghan Electrical Intermediate football League. Training continues as usual on Wednesday & Friday nights. Everyone are requested to attend.
 
JUNIOR B’S: Our boys played away to Emyvale on Saturday last in the Platinum Tanks Reserve League Div.1.B. All the Players put great effort into the game even though Emyvale opened the 1st few scores Aughnamullen’s Brendan Finnegan give us our 1st point followed by 2 more points in the 20th min Eddie Mc Ardle got Aughnamullen thier 1st goal, half time finished with only 4 points in it for Aughnamullen. Mark Mc Ardle opened the second half with a goal in the 1st min. Followed 2 min’s later with another great goal from our very young player Kevin Sheridan, giving Aughnamullen a 10 point lead. Emyvale come back into the game receiving more points, but our boys keep up the determination with more points ending the game with a great win on a score line of Aughnamullen (3-8) To Emyvale (0-9). Our next game is away to Ballybay on Saturday the 2nd of April at 6:30pm. All support welcome. Training continues as usual on Wednesday & Friday nights . Everyone are requested to attend.
 
MINORS: First game is home against St. Pats in Division 1, Round 1 on Tuesday next  the 5th of April at 6.30pm. Support our boys in their 1st game of the season.
JUVENILES:
U16’s: Our U16’s played thier 1st game of the season this evening Thursday away to Inniskeen more update on game next week. Their next game is on Thursday next the 7th of April at 6:30pm at home against Gaeil Triucha in Division 1 R.2.  Come out and support our young team.
U14’s: Our U14’s played their 1st game in Division 3 away to Cremartin on Saturday last, showing great determination with their 1st win on the 1st game of the season on a score line of Aughnamullen (3-11) To Cremartin (1-5). Next game is home against Clones on Saturday the 9th of April at 2pm. All support welcome.
U12’s:
SPRING  LEAGUE: Next game is away to Clones on this Saturday  the 2nd of April at 2pm. Come out and support this young team.
U10’s & U8’s:
Our U10 & U8 teams had there first games of the year against Drumhowan last Saturday morning in Aughnamullen. Conditions were perfect & great to see such support 4 both sides who were not disappointed as both clubs give it there all with some great performances from both sides. So Connor Mc Manus watch out. No games this week. Training continues on Saturday morning at 9:30am
U8’s & U6’s:
Training for our Juveniles for Under 8’s continues this Saturday at 9:30am. Our Under 6’s will be out shortly.
USE  OF  FIELD:  To keep up the good condition of both the fields Anyone looking or wishing to use any of the fields for games or training MUST have confirmation from  Ian Johnston 1st on 0877974423. Thanking you.

CLUB  MEMBERSHIP: Membership is now OVER  DUE for 2016 Adults €30 per person or €55 per couple, & €25 per Son/Daughter there after. Students €10. Payment can be made to either Club

Engagement: Big congratulations to our club secretary Edel Mc Mahon & Ryan Connolly who got engaged recently. Wishing them both long & happy life together 
 
SYMPATHY: Sympathy extended to the Finnegan Family, Rebane, on the death of their uncle Peter Finnegan, London.  May God have mercy on his soul.
