Monaghan Electrical IFL: Comhgairdeas to our new Management and our senior players who won their opening game in the Intermediate League against Currin last Sunday. Tyholland 2-11 Currin 0-12. Team; Pauric Hamill, Trevor Connolly, Paul McQuaid, Michael McQuaid, Stephen Connolly, Ronan McNally, Paul Coyle, Brian McArdle (1-0) Karl O’Connell (1-0), Shane Treanor (0-2), Jamie Smyth, Joe O’Boyle, Peadar Farrelly (0-1), Ryan McKenna (0-6), Karl Mooney. Paul McCormick (0-1) for Karl Mooney, Shane Hughes (0-1) for Paul McQuaid. Next fixture is an away game against Donaghmoyne on 9th April.

Reserves: Our reserves take on Drumhowan at home this Saturday 26th March at 5pm. Please come out and show your support for the team!

Minors: Good luck to Seamus McKenna who has taken on managing our Minor team. Training Tuesdays.

U14: Good luck to our U14 team who play their opening game on Saturday at home against Rockcorry.

U12: Well done to our U12 lads and lassies who defeated Eire Óg last Saturday. Training continues as usual.

Juveniles: Our U10/U8 training as usual this Saturday. First blitz set for 9t April for U10 and 16th April for U8.

Ladies: Our Ladies team meet Doohamlet at home on Saturday at 5pm.

St. Patrick’s Day: A massive well done to everyone involved in Tyholland entering the St. Patricks Day parade. It was a credit to all involved and was a brilliant showcase of our club to the county. Thank you to the 78 children, parents and helpers who took part making us one of the largest sports groups taking part in the parade this year.

Cultural Night: Go raibh míle maith agaibh go léir to all who took part and attended out Cultural night last Friday especially the children from Garron, Leitrim and Glaslough schools and not forgetting our local “painter”. It was a very enjoyable night and we hope to hold another night like this in the near future.

Comhgairdeas: Congratulations to Adrian & Frances Mone who celebrated the birth of their little baby girl Olivia last week!

Easter Camps: Monaghan GAA are holding Easter GAA camps on 29th – 31st March from 10am – 2.30pm. The nearest camp to us is being held in Scotstown. It is aimed at children aged 5 – 12 years and the cost is €55 and €45 for more than 1 child, this includes a GAA hoodie. More information available on Monaghan GAA website.
