Annual Registration

Last Call for annual club membership is now due for each member. €20 is payable to club registrar. Deadline for payment of membership is March 28th. David Treanor will be available in club complex on Friday 25th March from 8pm to 8.30pm and in Corcaghan Community Centre from 9.00pm to 9.30pm on the same evening. Memebershyip can be given to any committee member. He will also be available on Monday 27th March from 9.00 to 9.30pm at Bingo

Junior Football League

Here we go again with the start of another league campaign and a home match against local rivals , Eire Og. It is never easy to impress the home fans on the opening day of the new footballing calendar, however our young guns and old stagers created and excellent blend and took control of the fixture from early on. A new midfield partnership of Mark Keogh and James McAleer give a new look to the side and with Adam O Driscoll and Niall Kearns up front we were able to tag on scores and keep the momentum going in the first half. Although the visitors stuck to their task in the second half the Seans pushed on and racked up some great scores with sweeping movements from end to end. The final tally of 2-16 to 1-8 was a fair reflection on the possession and territory commanded by the home team. A good performance for the first outing, but the league is a long campaign and victories may not always be as comfortable.

U12 Spring League

Well done to our U12’s as they recorded a victory in their opening match against Rockcorry. The win was by the smallest of margins at 10 points to 9. A win is a win and hopefully this will set the tone for the up and coming games.

The biggest and best Bingo continues every Monday night in the complex.
