Platinum Tanks RFL Division 2

The first reserve game of the year takes place this Sunday 13th March when our reserve footballers travel to play Blackhill in the Platinum Tanks Reserve Football League Division 2 and the game has a throw-in time of 2pm.

Intermediate Football League

Regarding the Intermediate football league it is scheduled to start on Sunday 20th March when we host Donaghmoyne at Naomh Pairc Mhuire (throw-in time to be confirmed)

Gerry’s Prepared Veg – Under 12

The Under 12 Spring League (Zone G) football starts on Saturday 19th March when our under 12 footballers travel to play Sean McDermott’s and the game has a throw in time of 2pm. The Under 12 Spring League Finals are scheduled for Monday 2nd May.

Gerry’s Prepared Veg – Under 14

The Under 14 football league starts on Saturday 26th March. We have been placed in Division 4 and will play our first game away to Tyholland and throw-in time is 2pm.

Gerry’s Prepared Veg – Under 16

The Under 16 Football starts on Thursday 31st March for all divisions 1 & 2 and the Under 16 Division 3 start their football competition on Thursday 14th April.

Under 18 Football

Our minor footballers will get their first taste of action on Tuesday 5th April when they travel to Threemilehouse to play Sean McDermott’s. The official throw-in time has to be confirmed..

Club Membership

Club membership is now due once again and can be paid to our club Registrar Pat Brannigan. The annual subscription for adults is €20 with all juveniles under the age of 18 costing €5 and any student that can provide a valid student card the membership fee is €5. It is important that ALL players pay their membership as soon as possible otherwise you will not be covered under the GAA insurance scheme. Please note that club membership will close on Wednesday 30th March 2016.

Farney Easter Camps

The Monaghan Coaching & Games will once again be running Farney Easter Camps. This year there will be four camps taking place during the Easter Holidays. The 3-day camp will take place from Tuesday the 29th March to Thursday 31st March. The four venues for this year’s camps are Ballybay, Clones, Magheracloone and Scotstown. The camp will take place from 10am – 2.30pm each day. Boys & girls from 5 – 12 years old are welcome to attend the camp.Each child that attends the camp will receive a free Hoodie. The cost for attending the camp is €40 per child and €35 for additional children from the same family. Pre-Registration is essential for the camp if you want to guarantee your child receiving their hoodie during the camp as we cannot guarantee they will receive it, if they only register on the first morning of the camp. You can download the registration form by visiting the Monaghan GAA website. Just download the form, print it off and post it back along with the camp fee to the Monaghan Coaching & Games Office. The address is on the registration form. If you are writing a cheque it is very important it is made out to ‘Monaghan County Board’. The closing date for pre-registration is Tuesday 22nd March. The numbers drawn on Monday 7th March were 1, 10, 25 and 26. There was no jackpot winner of €6,300.00.
