Our reserves under the watchful eye of Micky Tierney and Seamus Murray got off to a flying start on Sunday morning in a home game against Monaghan Harps..In perfect conditions it was a tight affair for the first 15 mins before some of the not so young players got rid of the cobwebs and got up and running,with Patrick Croarkin looking like he was never away with some unorthodox means of winning the ball or a free! Other good performances on the day came from Francie McMahon on his first start in midfield didn’t look out of place and Joe gavin pulling off some unique saves in goals. Donal Tierney didn’t looked to have stopped over the winter scoring 4 brilliant points from play and the captain Fergie Sheridan assisting the old reliable Sean flynn with a brilliant 40 meter pass for Sean to finish brilliantly into the net.

Final score Eire og 1-15 Monaghan Harps  0-8.

Best of luck to our Senior goalkeeper James Marrow and the rest of the County u21’s playing Fermanagh in the Championship Quarter final in Inniskeen next Wednesday night the 16th at 8pm. It would be great to see as many club members as possible to go show our support.

U12’s Training to begin this Friday Evening 5.30pm in the main field.

Again as the new season approaches we are very low on numbers to help out at all age groups,anyone wishing to help out in any way please make yourself know to any committee member ASAP.Even if it is to come out to a training session once a week or even travel to a game to help out it would be much appreciated.
