SENIORS: Round 1 of the Intermediate League starts on Sunday the 20th of March away to Corduff at 4pm. Training continues as usual on Wednesday, Friday nights and Sunday morning. Everyone are requested to attend.

JUNIOR B’S: Our Reserves played thejir 1st game of the season at home on Saturday last. It just was’nt our day as Castleblayney showed a better side on a score line of Aughnamullen  (2-13) To Castleblayney (5-8). Trainng continues as usual on Wednesday & Friday nights and Sunday morning. Everyone are requested to attend.

MINORS: Our Minor Boys are training hard and putting the commitment in with a full turn out at all training. Keep up the hard work boys. First game is against St. Pats on Tuesday the 5th of April, Time and Venue TBC.

U16’s:  Our U16’s play their 1st game of the season on Thursday the 31st of March away to Inniskeen at 6.30pm.

U14’s: Our U14’s play their 1st game away to Cremartin on Saturday the 26th of march at 2pm.

U12’s:

 SPRING  LEAGUE: Spring league starts on Saturday the 19th of March its a home game for us against Truagh at 2pm.

U8’s:  U8’s: are back up and running for another year we made a great start last Saturday morning  anybody who did not receive a text and should have please contact Shane on 0874131690 or Paddy on 0872679471 and we will add your number to text list.

FLAG  DAY:

A Flag day was held on Saturday last the 5th of March in Carrickmacross, Castleblayney & Ballybay for  Our Juveniles.  A Big Thank you to everyone who helped out on such cold weather all your efforts where worth while and very much appreciated, A big thank you to everyone who contributed towards it, without you it would not be such a success.

ANNUAL  FOOTBALL  DINNER  DANCE:

Our Annual Dinner Dance will be held on Wednesday the 16th of March in our Social Centre, where dinner will be served at 9 pm with music by the Mc Cormac Brothers. Our special guests on the night is Our are Hall of fame winners the Mooney family Carrickatee and players of the year at Senior & Reserve, Young player of the year and the 91 Hackett cup winning team .It’s hard to believe that it is 25 years since this team beat Clontibret to take Aughnamullen back to senior ranks for the first time in many years. Managed by Lorrnie Duffy,selector Kieran Lonergan.

All of these players went on to play at senior level for a number of years with the club. The panel of players that year was Seamus Markey,  PJ Forde, Owen Daly, Gerard forde , Micheal Tossey Ward, Martin shada Mc Mahon, Paddy Murtagh, Brendan Hamill, Seamus Connolly, Adrian Mc Gardle, Phil Mc Caul, Francis Ward, Owen Bannigan, Pat Mc Cabe, Paddy Markey, Gene Duffy, Derek O’Neill, David King, Dermot Hamill, Micheal Ward, Seamus Mc Cabe, Noel Gorman, John Duffy, Micheal Derry, Eddie Forde, Partick Geoghegan, Bernard Geoghegan, Ciaran ward, Tom Murtagh. Patrick McCaul, James King

Hall of fame winners are Bernard, Sean and Brendan Mooney. The Mooney family have been great servants of our club from the early 70’s to the present day. They have played and have sat on various committees and have helped out in many ways within our club.

Please come along and make this an enjoyable night for all our special guests and our club. The Hackett cup will be back in our club on display on the night.
