SLotto:  Results for w/e 20th February 2016: Jackpot €2,500. No winner.  Numbers Drawn: 5,10,16,19.  Lucky dip winners; Frank McKenna, Rosaleen McKenna, Malachy Toal, Jack & Rachel Wilson.  The sellers prizes went to Patricia Farren and Elsie Wilson.  Tickets are available at €2 each or 3 for €5.  The draw will take place on Saturday night in the club.

 

Minors: We still need a Minor Manager. Please contact Paddy on 087 2231310 for more information.

 

Registration: Registration is now overdue so if you have not already done so please contact Michelle Treanor on 086 8907240.   A parent must register with ANY player under 18 at any level.

 

Juveniles: Our U10/U8 training continues Saturdays at 2.30-3.30 on the field (weather permitting).  Remember to bring your gum shield or you will not be allowed to play at training and you must be registered! Keep an eye on Whatsapp group for further information.  Will all parents please ensure that they read the Code of Conduct form with their child and sign it.  It is available from coaches at training.

 

U12: U12s training started back last night.  Make sure code of conduct has been signed and gumshields must be worn during matches at training.  There may be a change of training day next week so keep an eye on whatsapp for details.

 

U14: The U14s continue their training in the hall on Thursdays 6-7.30 and Saturdays 5.00 – 6.30.

 

Ladies: The Junior Ladies team play their first match this Sunday at home against Castleblayney.  Throw in at 1pm.  We would like to see good support for them!

Comhgairdeas: Congratulations and well done to Tyholland Drama Group who gave us two fantastic performances of their new play “When the Cats Away” last weekend.  The show was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

 

St. Patrick’s Day: We are hoping to enter our U8/U10s into the St. Patrick’s Day parade this year. Further details to follow!

 

Plaque: There are still a few people who expressed an interest in having their names included on the plaque and have not contacted Kevin to confirm or make payment.  Details are being finalised this weekend so please contact him on 087 7978634 if you wish to go ahead.

 

Cultural Night: To commemorate the 1916 Easter Rising, the club have decided to organise an Irish Culture Night.  We are hoping to hold this on Friday 18th March.  We are looking for singers, dancers, musicians and storytellers of all ages from our parish and the surrounding areas.  If you are interested in getting involved please contact Orla Donnelly on 086 6053561.
