Arch Club: We were delighted to host Monaghan Arch Club in our clubhouse for the seventh year in a row last Thursday night. As ever, this was a very enjoyable night, with music provided by Patrick McDonald, Dez Murphy, Anthony Ballantine, John McKenna, Tommy Connolly and the Arch Club choir. Club Chairman Seán McKenna welcomed everyone along, while the highlight of the night once again was “the real boss” Hugh Coyle giving his speech on behalf of his two favourite clubs, signing off with three cheers for the Harps! Thanks to Dónal Kenny and everyone involved with the Arch Club for joining us on the night and to our club members who helped out in any way or who brought food along. See the Monaghan Arch Club Facebook page and The Northern Standard for photos. We look forward to hosting the Arch Club again in 2017.
