LOTTO

There was no winner in this weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 2 ,3 ,19 and 21. The lucky dip winners were: The Kennedy family, Peter McEnroe (Shercock), The Fox family (Cloughvalley) and M. JUVENILE TRAINING

U6 training continues on Saturday morning from 10-11am.

U8 training will start on Saturday March 05th at 10am. This will be outdoors so boots and a gumshield are essential.

U10 training continues indoors on Tuesday from 6-7.

U12 training will start today Tuesday the 23rd at 7.

U14 training continues next Saturday at 10. It will then move to a Monday and Thursday evening from 8-9.

U16’S next training is this Thursday 8-9.

U10 GO GAMES

Saturday was the last of the u10 go games in the Phoenix Centre. Well done to Emma Hughes, Caoimhe Kelly, Kai Duffy, Joe Kellet, Garreth Gainford, Craig Whyte, Shane McMahon, Christopher Marron, Oisin Byrne and Colm Farrelly who all competed over the three weeks. Thank you to Sean Hughes and Catherine Kelly who coached the kids. We are looking forward to many more games from these very talented young players.

DEFIBRILLATOR

The Defibrillator training and refresher course will be held in Magheracloone Community Centre today Tuesday the 23rd of February at 8pm.

COACHES FIRST AID COURSE

Monaghan GAA will be holding a first aid course over two nights in Cloughan on Monday the 7th and Monday the 14th of March. Each evening will run from 6:30 to 9:45. This is recommended for anyone who wishes to actively assist children/adults in their care. If interested call Martin Farrelly on 087 9574354.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership can be paid either online at www.magheracloonemitchells.ie or to any committee member. It is club policy that at least one Parent/Guardian are members of the club. Membership fees are €40 for one Parent/Guardian plus one child. €50 for Family Membership which includes: Both Parents/Guardians plus children.

REMINDER

A reminder to all coaches who still have to complete the Child Protection and Foundation coaching courses, these will be held in Magheracloone Community Centre this Friday the 26th of February from 7-10pm and on Saturday the 27th of February from 9am to 5.

GALA BALL

On March 05th in the Nuremore Hotel we will be proud to celebrate our clubs history, it’s present and it’s future. More importantly it is the 70th anniversary of the clubs existance. An amazing feat that could only be reached because of the clubs members, supporters, players and sponsors associated with Magheracloone Mitchells over the years. In 1966 our Junior team made history by winning the County Championship and the League. This group of players inspired the history of Magheracloone Mitchells and is only fitting that we celebrate these wins on what is the 50th anniversary of the victories. On the night the winning team will be presented with a memento from the club in recognition of their achievements. Hopefully many stories will be regaled on the night and it will be a great occasion for this group of men and their families as they are a major part of the history of our club and we thank them. Put the date in your diary for what promises to be a great night as we honour the men that are steeped in your clubs heritage. Tickets are selling fast from any Finance or Executive Committee member.
