U21’S

Good luck to Damien, Paudie and all the U21 team who take on Glen (Watty Grahms) in the Bank of Ireland Paddy McLarnon Cup semi-final this Sunday the 14th of February at 2:15 in Creggan. All support would be greatly appreciated by the club, managment and team.

U10’S

Our U10’S started their season in style on Saturday last. They were taking part in a 5-aside competition in the Phoenix Centre. Fast and furious was the name of the game and our boys didn’t disappoint! Excellent performances from all our players assured us that the future of football is bright in Magheracloone. They played against teams from Carrick, Corduff, Killanny, Inniskeen and Donaghmoyne. Thanks to Sean Hughes for taking the team and the best of luck next week. Training continues on Tuesday evening from 7-8pm in the Community Centre. Don’t forget your gumshield.

LOTTO

There was no winner in this weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 03, 15, 16 and 20 . The lucky dip winners were: The McGrane family, Rose McEnaney, Sean Kerley and Graine Cassidy c/o Justins. The jackpot next week will be €7,700. Congratulations to all the lucky dip winners. Thank you for your continued support.

DEFIBRILLATOR

The Club Defibrillator has been sent away for its annual service. Incase of emergency please take note on the locations of the 5 other Defibrillators in the parish:

MEMBERSHIP

Membership can be paid either online at www.magheracloonemitchells.ie or to any committee member. It is club policy that at least one Parent/Guardian are members of the club. Membership fees are €40 for one Parent/Guardian plus one child. €50 for Family Membership which includes: Both Parents/Guardians plus children.

Well done to Oisin Byrne who was the overall winner in the Monaghan Cumann na mBunscol handball final and will now go on to represent Drumgosset NS in the Ulster finals in Belfast this Thursday. Best of luck Oisin from all at Magheracloone Mitchells.

MONTHLY MEETING

Our next monthly meeting will take place on Tuesday the 9th of February at 8:30 in the club rooms. All club members are welcome.

GALA BALL

The Gala Ball is fast approaching, we are honoured to have Aogán O Fearghaíl President of the GAA coming to our celebration dinner. The Juniors and U21’S will also be presented with their winning championship medals. We are also honouring the great 1966 double winning team. Make sure you get your tickets as they are selling out fast. Tickets for our Gala Dinner on March 5th in the Nuremore Hotel can be purchased from any member of the Finance or Executive Committee.
