Comórtas Glór na nGael 2015

Tá Cumann Peile na Sáirséalaigh Cill Laobhain tar éis an Duais Uladh a bhaint amach i gcomórtas Naisiúnta Glór na nGael. Míle buíochas achan duine a thug cuidiú duinn i rith 2015. We are delighted that our club, Killeevan Sarsfields, won the Ulster section of the National Glór na nGael competion. We were awarded the best club in Ulster at promoting our native language. Huge thanks to everyone in the club for your help, encouragement and especially your use of Irish in everyday activities around Páirc na Sáirséalaigh. Ach, níl sé thart anois, beidh muid pairteach sa chomórtas 2016 agus ag súil chuig an duais Náisiúnta! We are again entering the competition for 2016 and we will offer many events, classes, activities and encouragement for our members and community to learn, improve and use their native language. We encourage everyone to take that first step to re-acquaint themselves Gaeilge in 2016. Go raibh míle maith agaibh go léir.

Comhghairdeas/Congratulations.

Comhghairdeas Micheal Lawson as dul tríd go dtí an céad babhta eile sa comórtas amhráníocht ‘The Voice’. Congratulations to Michael Lawson, member of our Senior Panel, who will be performed brilliantly on RTE’s The Voice of Ireland on Sunday last. We look forward to seeing him perform again in the next round. Ádh mór.

Ranganna Ghaeilge/Irish Classes.

Tá Cumann Peile na Sáirséalaigh Cill Laobhain tar éis eagrú ranganna Gaeilge do tosaitheoirí. Beginners Irish night classes every Monday 7pm-8pm in the clubrooms. Cúrsa don scrudú béil/Oral Irish course.

Tá Cumann Peile na Sáirséalaigh Cill Laobhain i gcomhar le Cumann Forbartha Crois Uí Ghrianáin ag eagrú an cúrsa seo fá choinne daltaí an 6ú bliain. Finalising details for the course to help 6^th year students prepare for their Leaving Certificate Oral Irish exam. Places still available.
