Juvenile Presentation Night: On the 19th of February there will be a presentation to last years U14 team that won the league. Also on the night the juvenile committee will be holding a table quiz in an effort to generate funds for the upcoming 2016 season. It’d be great to see a good turnout for this event with our senior county contingent making the presentation to the lads with the Anglo Celt making an appearance on the night.

The Ballybay Club would like to confirm the appointment of Damien Macklin, Jimmy Sullivan & Paul McCabe as reserve team manager for the 2016 season. The remainder of the senior management team will be announced in due course, but the appointment of these men is wonderful news for the club and we wish them all the very best and look forward to working with them throughout the year.

Coaching Courses: This year the club are hosting a foundation level coaching course in Pearse Park on Friday evening the 10th & Saturday the 11th of March. Sympathy Ballybay Pearse Brothers would like to extend deepest sympathy to the family & friends of father John McCabe, former Ballybay Pearse Brother, who was laid to rest week in Roslea. May he rest in peace.

Best of luck to Ryan Wylie & Dessie Ward who will be presenting UCD & DCU respectively this weekend in Jordanstown Belfast.

On-Line Blotto: The club’s blotto can now be purchased on-line. Please see the Ballybay Pearse Brothers facebook page for the link that’ll allow you to access the website for more details. Play now so that you don’t miss out on the chance to win the weekly jackpot.

Bingo: Just a quick note to remind everyone that the club’s weekly Bingo takes place every Tuesday night at 9pm in the clubhouse. The bingo is a great opportunity for the community to come together midweek and have a good night while maybe even winning a few bob. This is a fundamental part of the club’s fund raising for day-to-day costs and we would all really appreciate if you, your friends or your family could support this if you can at all. And, don’t forget, there is transport available to the centre. Every week, our volunteers go to great efforts to keep this going so that all of the other voluntary members of the club have a good starting platform. Hope to see some new faces tomorrow night and over the coming weeks!

Astro Turf. Please contact Brendan Macklin 087-6766283 for bookings. Interest is growing with pre-season training back in full swing, so get in early to ensure you’re not disappointed.

Committee meeting: The next committee meeting is fixed for Monday the 29th of Feb in the club room at 8pm It is hoped to see all members there.
