Big Breakfast Morning: The club would like to thank all those you contributed to our recent “Big Breakfast” morning. The event was a major success with massive numbers turning out taken the chefs by surprise on the morning. A special mention to all those who helped out in any way, particularly the ladies behind the scenes who prepared all & kept the operation running like clockwork. As always the sponsorship was greatly appreciated by the club with a lot of local businesses & individuals contributing to the event. Again we would encourage all club members to shop local where possible.

Coaching Courses: This year the club are hosting a foundation level coaching course in Pearse Park on Friday evening the 10th & Saturday the 11th of March. Anyone interested in attending the course should contact either Evan Rutledge 0871351243 or Cillian McAviney 0867368078 for additional information. All are welcome to attend.

Juvenile Presentation Night: On the 19th of February there will be a presentation to last years U14 team that won the league. Also on the night the juvenile committee will be holding a table quiz in an effort to generate funds for the upcoming 2016 season. It’d be great to see a good turnout for this event with our senior county contingent making the presentation to the lads with the Anglo Celt making an appearance on the night.

Croker Tickets: Could each of the players and committee members that have any of the Croker Tickets please return them to Niall Duffy before the end of the weekend as the closing date is approaching fast. Tickets for the annual Croker Park GAA draw are still available and can be got from any player, committee member or at the Big Breakfast Morning. Tickets are €10 each with some amazing prizes to be won. Make sure you’re in it to win. This is a major fundraiser for the club and we’d encourage as many as possible to buy a ticket to the support the club and be in with a chance of winning some great prizes.

Bingo: Just a quick note to remind everyone that the club’s weekly Bingo takes place every Tuesday night at 9pm in the clubhouse. The bingo is a great opportunity for the community to come together midweek and have a good night while maybe even winning a few bob. This is a fundamental part of the club’s fund raising for day-to-day costs and we would all really appreciate if you, your friends or your family could support this if you can at all. And, don’t forget, there is transport available to the centre. Every week, our volunteers go to great efforts to keep this going so that all of the other voluntary members of the club have a good starting platform. Hope to see some new faces tomorrow night and over the coming weeks!
