Big Breakfast Morning: The club will be holding their annual BIG BREAKFAST MORNING in the club house this Sunday the 7th of February from 9am – 12noon. Come out & fill up before heading to the Monaghan V’s Down game. Breakfast served for €10 per head. Transport to and from the club rooms will be available to any person in the surrounding areas, just contact any club member for additional info.

Coaching Courses: This year the club are hosting a foundation level coaching course in Pearse Park on Friday evening the 10th & Saturday the 11th of March. Anyone interested in attending the course should contact either Evan Rutledge 0871351243 or Cillian McAviney 0867368078 for additional information. All are welcome to attend.

Ballybay Pearse Brothers Club membership for the 2016 season is now available. There are three options available this year.

Gold Membership – which consists of free entry into all senior & reserve home league fixtures, entry into the clubs Blotto each week, entry into the draw for tickets to this years All Ireland Final & general club membership for a fee of €240. (Payment via direct debit is available over a 12 month period)

Silver Membership – which consists of free entry into all senior & reserve home league fixtures, entry into the draw for tickets to this years All Ireland Final & general club membership for a fee of €100.

Bronze membership – which consists of free entry into the draw for tickets to this years All Ireland Final & general club membership for a fee of €30.

Current members will be approached in the hope of resigning as many as possible while continuing to build on previous numbers. So anyone who would like to become a club member please contact any committee member for additional information.

Congratulations: Congratulations to Jane Drury and her Our Ladies Castleblayney team mates on winning the Ulster Schools Final in Crossmaglen last week. Jane started and made a significant impact scoring 3-0, her first coming in the opening minutes to set the team on their way. Well done Jane & keep up the good work.

Hard luck: The Ballybay Community College who were defeated in the Senior Schools VEC Football Competition on Friday last. The lads put in a spirited performance but it wasn’t to be on the day. They can be very proud of their achievements throughout the year. Well done lads.

Defibrillator Course: There will be a defibrillator training course for beginners on Monday the 8th of February from 6.30 – 10pm in the club rooms at Ballybay Pearse Park. Cost of the training is €10 per individual. The club would encourage as many of its members as possible to attend. Contact Una on 0867963890 to register.

Croker Tickets: Could each of the players and committee members that have any of the Croker Tickets please return them to Niall Duffy before the end of the weekend as the closing date is approaching fast. Tickets for the annual Croker Park GAA draw are still available and can be got from any player, committee member or at the Big Breakfast Morning. Tickets are €10 each with some amazing prizes to be won. Make sure you’re in it to win. This is a major fundraiser for the club and we’d encourage as many as possible to buy a ticket to the support the club and be in with a chance of winning some great prizes.

Bingo: Bingo will take place every Tuesday evening at the normal time of 9pm. If there’s any member of the public, particularly elderly ladies & gentlemen, who would like to attend the night but struggle for transportation there is a free bus run within the local area to bring people to & from the club rooms. If you like to avail of this service please contact any committee member.
