Donaghmoyne GAA Christmas Merchandise:

As all of you may know, we had a lot of trouble with O’Neills when trying to obtain the merchandise we ordered for Christmas. As it stands we are yet to receive half of the merchandise. Once it all arrives it will be distributed. Once again, we give our sincere apologies but there was nothing we could have done.

Donaghmoyne GAA Goes Strictly to the Movies:

On Monday last the 28th of December, we hosted our major fundraiser for the year “Donaghmoyne Strictly Goes to the Movies” in the Nuremore Hotel in Carrickmacross. A huge crowd turned out on the night to witness what we had hoped would be an excellent nights entertainment, thankfully everything went according to plan and it was a brilliant night for the club and all involved. This however could not have been possible without a lot of help from a lot of people. There are a few sets of people who cannot go without being thanked. Firstly, we would like to thank all the dancers for their commitment and dedication over the last couple of months. Their hard work really paid off in the end as they gave a great performance. Secondly, we would like to thank all those on the organising committe, on which there are too many to be mentioned, who worked tirelessly organising the event, making sure everything ran smoothly. Next we would like to thank our main sponsor Creevy Construction and of course to all the sponsors who have been extrememly generous to us. Without your continued support it wouldnt be possible for us to run events like this or to run our club as efficiently as we do. Following that, we need to thank both the Nuremore Hotel and the Lisdoonan Centre for the kind use of their facilities on the night and over the last couple of months, it was greatly appreciated. Thank you also to our MC for the night Paddy Martin who did a great job on keeping everyone on the edge of their seats with his quick wit and humour, also to our judges for giving up your time to survey the proceedings on the night. A special mention of thanks must go to Gavin Quigley and his team for putting in immense work with all the dancers over the past number of weeks. The show would not have been possible without them. Finally, a big thank you to each and every one of you who attended on the night to lend your support. We hope you enjoyed the nights entertainment. Thank you to you all once again.
