Lotto: Jackpot €6,300. Results for w/e 12th December 2015: No winner. Numbers Drawn: 6,8,10,25. No Winner! Lucky dip winners; Noel McQuillan, Emyvale, Seamus McKenna, Robert Kilroy, Gareth McKenna. Next weeks Jackpot is €6,400 – that would be a nice lift for Christmas!

Christmas Charity Match: The Annual Christmas Charity Match is being held on Sunday 27th December at 3pm. Both past and future “legends” will be playing on the day! There will be some music from our Scór group as well as medal presentations and Senior and Junior B Player of the Year will be announced in the clubhouse after the match. It promises to be a great afternoon so keep your Christmas Jumpers at the ready for it! This year we will be donating funds raised to a very worthy cause namely Daithi’s Wish to Walk. Daithi is a son of former Tyholland underage player Paul Sherry, he has cerebral palsy and funds are being raised to pay for an operation to help him walk.

Comhgairdeas: Congratulations to Ciara & Sean McGreevy who had an early Christmas present last week when their little baby Charlotte was born.

Carol Singing: The two parish schools are having their Carol singing and Christmas concerts in the parish church this week, Scoil Bhríde is this evening Thursday at 7.30 and Scoil Padraig’s is on tomorrow Friday at 7pm. Everyone welcome!

Juveniles: Many thanks to everyone who helped out at the Juvenile Christmas Party last Saturday a great afternoon was had by all!

Coaches: We are still looking for a coach for our minor team contact Paddy Hughes on 087 2231310 if interested.

Ladies: Tyholland Senior ladies are also looking for a manager for more information please contact Kevin Kavanagh 087 7978634. The U14/U16 group need selectors to help out too.

Sympathy: The club would like to extend our sympathy to Pauline McGarry and family on the recent death of her husband Gerry. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.

Scoil Phádriag: Great excitement and fever pitch befell the pupils of Scoil Phádraig, Garron on Friday 4th December when Karl O’Connell, Senior County Player, visited the school with the Anglo Celt Cup. Tyholland and Monaghan jerserys replaced the school uniform for the afternoon as our support and appreciation was shown for our local football hero.

Membership: Michelle Treanor is our new club registrar and is now taking membership fees for next year. There will be a registration night in January, further details will follow on this.
