Convention Report and 2015 Award Winners
Last Thursday 3rd December the 2016 Monaghan GAA Convention took place in the Hillgrove Hotel. In what was a quiet night there was only one election as Paul Curran withdrew from the Central Council Contest. There was only one contest on the night with Seán Mc Kenna, Frank Brady, Gerry Mc Donald and Brendan Casey all nominated for the 2 Ulster Delegate Positions. After the count both Seán Mc Kenna and Brendan Casey were elected. All motions were forwarded as recommendations to January’s County Committee meeting. Joe Brolly also spoke on the Opt for Life Organ Donation Campaign.
