AGM

The clubs AGM took place on Wednesday night. A good attendance of members heard the annual reports from the Club Secretary, Kate Deasy, Treasurer, Mary Murphy and Chairperson Teresa Lam.

Our Secretary opened the meeting by welcoming everyone and also thanked everyone that helped in any way throughout the year.

The year’s activities were noted, all team performances were commented on and all mentors and players were congratulated by the Chairperson. Teresa thanked all the sponsors that sponsored the club in any way during the year, the coaches from all age groups, all Referees and the seniors and the Managers for winning the Senior Championship and League Final.

Treasurer Mary Murphy gave a detailed account of the figures and thanked everyone that helped in any way in raising money for the club.

With only one out going officer, Teresa Lam as Chairperson, Siobhan Fee was elected unopposed for the position. We would like to wish Siobhan well in her new post. The club would also like to compliment Teresa on her year’s tenure in the position and acknowledge her efforts, diligence and professionalism with the club. The Chairwoman welcomed all new committee members and looks forward to working with them in the coming year.

Final Note:

We successfully fielded teams in all grades and competitions in Monaghan as well as fielding teams in the Armagh League in 2015. This would not have been possible without the help and commitment of the coaches, players, managers, parents and supporters. To you all and to anyone who helped out in any way during the year we say a heartfelt thank you. The club is very grateful to the fantastic individuals and companies who sponsored the club during the year it was greatly appreciated.
