Lotto: Winner of jackpot prize of €6,700 for week ending Sunday 1st November was Paddy McCarron, Killydreen. Lucky numbers were 1, 4, 7 and 9. 

Winner of jackpot prize of €1,000 for week ending Sunday 8th November was Rachael McKenna, Cornanure. Numbers drawn were 5, 7, 26 and 28. Next weeks jackpot is €1,000.

Ready, Steady, Coach!

Coaching programme continues TONIGHT Thursday 12th November at 8 pm sharp in the Blackwater Valley Learning Centre. Please Note Change of Date, time and Venue for this week.

Co. Monaghan Credit Unions SFL:  We played away to Monaghan Harps on Sunday past in the Semi Final of the SFL. It was a close game which saw both side level at full time, the game went to Extra time and we finished victorious at the final whistle with a scoreline of 1-16 to 2-10. We now take on our neighbours Scotstown on Sunday 22nd of November at 2:30pm. Venue to be confirmed. Best of Luck to the players and Management.

GAA National Club Draw: Representatives from the club will be in Monaghan Shopping Centre this Friday 13th and Saturday 14th November from 9am-7pm. On sale will be tickets for the GAA’s National Club Draw. Volunteers required. Contact Niall on 0868386971 to offer assistance.

Celebration Dinner: Keep free Saturday 21st November when we will honour the 1975 Owen Ward Cup Winning Team and the 1995 Intermediate Championship Winning Team at a Celebration Dinner in St. Mellans. Tickets on sale from Kevin on 0866030670 or Niall on 0868386971. 

Club Development PlanClub Development Plan Workshop: was due to take place on Friday 20th November, this has been postponed until the new year, due to the Rannafast Cup being played on the same night.

Cultural Night: will take place on Friday 13th November in St. Mellans.  There will be a family mass in Irish at 7.30pm followed by a cultural display. The Anglo Celt  will also be in attendance on the night so come along and have your photo taken with the Cup. 

AGM: will take place on Friday 4th December 2015.

Scor: We have a number of participants in the Scor na nOg competition which takes place in Threemilehouse this Saturday 14th November at 6pm. Please show your support.

 

Senior Ladies

The senior ladies league semi final has been fixed for this Sunday at 2pm in St Mellans. The girls will go head to head with Latton for a league semi final spot. Come out and give the girls your support. Training continues tomorrow night Friday at 8.15. All girls to make a big effort to attend.

Running Track: The lights around the running track will be on every Tuesday from 7pm to 8pm and every Thursday Night from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

Child Protection Course: Monaghan GAA are running two child protection course in November. One on Wed 18 Nov 7-10pm in Cloghan, The second is on 25 Nov 7-10pm, Please note that in 2016 no manager, coach or first aider will be allowed to be involved in any team where there are children under 18 years of age participating unless they have completed their child protection course and have also completed their Garda vetting. Anyone who did their child protection more than four years ago should also have their child protection renewed. Anyone interested in this course contact Bronagh.

Boot Camp: Continues in St. Mellans on a Monday and Wednesday evening from 7-8pm, €4 per person. Men and Women welcome.
