Ulster Club SFC

We face Crossmaglen in the Ulster Club final on Sunday November 29th at 3.30pm in the Athletic Grounds, Armagh. Please note the change of time. Make sure to get down early and get your seat and support Rockcorry who play in the curtain raiser at 1.30pm. Best of luck to all involved.

Co. Monaghan Credit Unions SFL

The Senior League final has been fixed for Friday 4th Decemeber in Emyvale at 8pm against Truagh.

Coaches Needed

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic coaches for our juvenile teams for 2016. No experience is necessary. If you feel you would like to help out in anyway please contact David on 087 6202242 or Gary on 086 0551835.

AGM

The Annual General Meeting of Scotstown GAA will take place in the Meeting Room at the Complex on Friday, November 27th at 8pm sharp

Club Shop

The club shop is open 7-8pm on Friday evening at the complex. Make sure and get your club colours for Sunday.

We currently have a Club Calandar for 2016 for sale for €10. You can purchase from McMahons, Centra, Todays Local, Tydavnet or the Club Shop.

Scór na nÓg

Well done to Caitriona Sherlock who won the Amhránaíocht Aonair at the Scór na nÓg Ulster Semi Final on Saturday evening in Killeavy. She now progresses to the Ulster Final in Silverbridge on Saturday 12th December.

Foundation Coaching Course

Monaghan GAA are holding a Foundation Football course on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th of November. The Friday evening will run from 7-10pm and the Saturday will be 9.30am to 4.30pm. This is an excellent opportunity to start off your coaching career. If you are interested in attending please contact coaching officer David on 087-6202242.

Child Protection

The club will be running Child Protection training courses for club members in the Complex on Monday 7th and on Thursday 10th December from 7-10pm. Anyone involved in coaching teams or in any club role dealing with children under the age of eighteen must have up to date training (taken within the last three years). Contact Cormac on 087-6504979 to book your place, stating which night you would prefer to attend.

Tydavnet Parish 1916 Project

The trip to Dublin which was due to take place this Saturday has been postponed until January – more details next week.

Ulster Ladies All Star

Well done to Celine Nally you received an Ulster All Star last week. Celine will receive their All Star Award at a presentation at Kelly Inn on the 15th January and she will also represent Ulster in the interprovincial series at the end of that month.

 

Dermot Earley Youth Leadership Programme

Well done to Chloe Keenan and Lorcan Deery who received their Dermot Earley youth leadership certs on Saturday in Croke Park.
