Ulster Club SFC

Time to get out and support the club again! This Sunday we face Trillick (Tyrone) in the semi final of the Ulster Club Championship. This game is fixed for Brewster Park at 2.30pm on Sunday.Templeport (Cavan) play Faughenvale (Derry) in the curtain rasier so get down early to get your seat and bring your club flags and colours.

Co. Monaghan Credit Unions SFL

Our Senior team won a war of attrition against Magheracloone on Sunday in the semi final of the league. The teams were level  0-6 to 1-3 at half time but an Orin Heaphey goal after the restart drove the blues on to run out winners 1-12 to 1-9. We now face Truagh in the final with venue and date tbc.

Minors

There will be a meeting for all minor boys for the 2016 season this Saturday night 14th Nov at 8pm sharp in the meeting room in the complex. Please be there on time.

U8/10 Girls

Winter training continues 6-7pm in the complex on Thursdays.

Coaches Needed

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic coaches for our juvenile teams for 2016. No experience is necessary. If you feel you would like to help out in anyway please contact David on 086 6202242 or Gary on 086 0551836.

AGM

The Annual General Meeting of Scotstown GAA will take place in the Meeting Room at the Complex on Friday, November 27th at 8pm sharp

Ciorcal Gaelige

Child Protection

The club will be running Child Protection training courses for club members in the Complex on Monday 7th and on Thursday 10th December from 7-10pm. Anyone involved in coaching teams or in any club role dealing with children under the age of eighteen must have up to date training (taken within the last three years). Contact Cormac on 087-6504979 to book your place, stating which night you would prefer to attend.

 

Tydavnet Parish 1916 Project

As part of the Tydavnet Parish: 1916 Project, the club will be running a trip to Dublin on Saturday, November 28th visiting Glasnevin Cemetery/Museum, and a stadium tour of Croke Park and the GAA Museum. The cost is €10 per person (covers transport and entry to the tours and museums). Places are limited, so contact Paddy on 087-2525457 as soon as possible to book your place. This project has been funded by grant assistance from the Ireland 2016 Community the Department of Arts, Heritage & the Gaeltacht/Monaghan County Council.
