Juvenile AGM: The Juvenile Club Annual General Meeting took place in the clubhouse last Thursday night. Aideen Swift and Damien Morgan presented the Secretary’s Report and Chairman’s Address, both giving an overview of another busy year for our juveniles and thanking everyone involved. There were reports from Jimmy Croarkin and Martin Sheridan on our Under-12s, Finbarr Conlon and Chris Conway on our Under-14 teams, Michael O’Donoghue on the Under-16 campaign and Brian Toal and Ryan O’Neill on the Saturday-morning coaching. Club Chairman Seán McKenna also thanked everyone who helped out with our underage structure during the year. The following juvenile committee was returned for 2016: Chairman: Damien Morgan; Joint Secretaries: Aideen Swift and Una Forde; Vice-Chairman: Martin Sheridan.
Schools: Hard luck to Thomas Croarkin, Jamie Shields, Conor McCrystal and the St. Macartan’s College team, who lost to a strong Patrician High School side in the Rannafast Cup Final last Friday. Well done to Lochlainn Power, Conor Devlin, Oisín Fagan, Eoghan McGinnity, Terence McDonald, Tiarnán O’Rourke and the Sem’s Corn na nÓg team who won their semi-final against Patrician.
Scór: Well done to Danny Treacy, who represented club and county well in Aithriseoireacht at the Ulster Scór na nÓg semi-final in Killeavy last Saturday.
