Rannafast Semi-Final

After squeezing out the unbeaten Maghera by three points in the semi-final the Patrician High School now graduate to the Rannafast Cup Final where they will meet St Macartan’s College. This is an all Monaghan final for the first time in history with the prestigious Danske Bank Edmund Rice Rannafast Cup going to the winning team.

The Patrician boys fully deserve to be playing their neighbours St Macartan’s in the “A” Schools Rannafast Final. The Patrician boys will relish this challenge. This is a match not to be missed. The Patrician team are a pleasure to watch with top players from all the surrounding clubs (Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, Inniskeen, Meath Hill, Drumconrath, Corduff , Donaghmoyne and Kingscourt) who play Gaelic football at its best together. We would like to wish the team and management in particular the Mitchell representatives Conor Mc Keown (Captain), Niall Marron, Liam Óg Murray, Barry Kieran & Dylan Mc Cahey the very best of luck in the final against St. Macartans.

Management: Eamon Dunne, Martin Mills & Brendan Lennon
