Club Lotto. The numbers drawn in the club lotto this week were 5, 10, 17 and 21. The jackpot was not won this week and the following players won fifty euro each in the Lucky Dip…. Paul Farnan,  (D.D.), Gary and Olivia Byrne, (D.D.),  Peter Ward, (D.D.)  and Kitty Rennick. The next draw will take place on Monday 9th November and the Jackpot will be 6,500 euro.

 

 

Results and Fixtures.    Magheracloone travelled to Monaghan on Sunday afternoon to face the Harps club in search of the two points that would see the team into the league semi-finals. Magheracloone started well and led by 2-6 to 1-5 at half-time. In the second half  Magheracloone scored two further goals and ran out winners on a score-line of 4-12 to 2-12.  This victory means that Magheracloone will travel to Scotstown for the semi-final on this Sunday 8^th, November at 2.00 p.m. while Monaghan Harps will play Gaeil Truagh in the other clash.

 

County Minor Victory.  Congratulations to the County minor team, led by Magheracloone man, Paudie McMahon, on winning the Damien Reid Cup last week-end. The club was also represented by Jack Kirk in this competition. This victory  augurs well for the team in 2016.

 

Under-6.   The programme for this age group resumes on Saturday, 7^th November at 10.00.

There will be no Strength and Conditioning on this Friday, 6^th due to the Juvenile presentation evening. It will resume on Friday 13^th and all are encouraged to attend.

Colouring Competition. The club has organized a colouring competition for all junior infants.Winners will be presented with a prize at the presentation evening this Friday. The club would like to thank the schoolsfor allowing this activity in the schooland the teachers for selecting the winners.

 

Christmas Merchandise. It is that time of year again and the club is now taking orders for merchandise for Christmas.
The closing date for orders is strictly Friday 6th November.
Please respect this closing date as last year some customers did not receive their orders before Christmas.

A few new items have been added to the stock including rain-jackets, shorts and socks.

A.G.M.  The A.G.M. for 2015 will be held in the Community Centre on Friday 20^th November at 7.30. p.m. All members should have received notice of the meeting at this stage and nomination forms along with notice of motions should be with the Secretary by 13^th November.

A number of officer posts will become vacant and will be filled at this meeting. All members are invited to come to this annual meeting and to offer themselves to work for the club in the coming year.

Juvenile Presentation Night. The children will be presented with medals and certificates at the annual Juvenile Presentation Night which will be held on Friday 6^th November. Please keep this date free.

 

Juvenile A.G.M.  The juvenile A.G.M. will be held on this Friday 13^th November in the Community Centre. All parents and mentors are invited to attend to review the year and to plan for 2016.
