Scór na nÓg – Congratulations to our Scór Instrumental Group of Cait Brennan, Conor Quinn, Colm Mc Mahon, Finbarr Brennan and Daniel Tomany who qualified for the Ulster Final, their fourth in a row, in Silverbridge on Saturday 12th of December. They will be joined by the Set Dancers of Christina Sherry, Aine Grogan, Sinead Grogan, Megan Treanor, Lauren Duffy, Blinne Treanor and Angie Mc Guirk. The Figure/Ceilí Dancers – Orlaith Brennan, Sinead Grogan, Cait Brennan, Aine Grogan, Christina Sherry, Annmarie Lavelle, Angie Mc Guirk and Lorna Mc Guirk were extremely unlucky not to qualify from the Ulster Semi Final in Killeavy last Saturday 21st November.
Dermot Earley Youth Leadership Certificate Conferrals – Finbarr Brennan and Daniel Tomany had a busy day last Saturday. In the evening they were busy qualifying for a Ulster Scór Final. Earlier in the day alongside fellow club mate Patrick Duffy they were in Croke Park alongside 15 more young Monaghan adults receiving their Dermot Earley Youth Leadership Certificates. Well done boys.
AGM – takes place this Thursday 26th November in the Community Centre at 8pm. We urge all members to attend to review 2015 and look forward to 2016.
.Juvenile Indoor Winter Training Programme – This Saturday evening the 28th of November is the last session so lets have a full turnout to finish out a highly successful juvenile season on a good note. It will last from 5-45 to 6-50pm. It all takes place in Ballybay Recreation Centre and it’s open to all children aged 5 to 12 years old. Please wear tracksuit and runners and take a bottle of water, a skipping rope and one euro to cover hall rental costs.
Club Gear – There is a good selection of Club Zip Tops , Hoodies etc available in Declan Loughmans Sports Castleblayney to suit all age groups.
Congratulations to Stephen Mc Donnell, Carrickanaire and Natasha Armstrong who were married in Tyholland last Friday 20th November with a reception afterwards in the Hillgrove. Wishing them many years of happiness.
