There will be a fitness test for all those interested in playing with Donaghmoyne Seniors in 2016 this Saturday evening November 28th at 6pm sharp at the Shercock Running Track. Bring Runners and Water. There will be dressing rooms available. No Minors need attend. Everyone else, injured or not, is expected to attend. Any problems contact Paddy on 0877591548. Annual General Meeting:

Last Friday evening we hosted our Annual General Meeting and a very productive meeting it was. Penty of good taking points and some interesting discussion were put forward on the night and it was great to see so many people keen to get involved with what goes on around the club. The following officers have been appointed for the year 2016;

Congratulations:

We’d like to congratulate all the Patrician High School Carrickmacross team and management on their historic Rannafast Cup Final win over rivals St. Macartans Monaghan last Friday night. A special mention goes to our own Oran Martin who lined out a wing half back last Friday and performed really well. He done himeself, the club and his family proud. What a year it’s been for him as he added to his Buncrana Cup and Minor League + Championship Winners medals that he had already. Congratulations to him and to all involved once again.

Donaghmoyne GAA Goes Strictly to the Movies:

Training is in full swing and preparations are well underway for December 28th. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased from any of our dancers or Strictly Committee members. Get your ticket soon so you’re not disappointed! Just under five weeks to go!!

Ladies:

We’d like to congratulate all the Donaghmoyne Senior Ladies Team and Management on their All Ireland Semi Final win over Foxrock from Co. Dublin last weekend. This means they all just one step away from reclaiming the All Ireland Ladies Club Title. The final has been fixed for Sunday the 6th of December and the girls will face Mourneabby Co. Cork in Parnell Park in Dublin and throw in is at 2.45 on the day. Just over a week to go for that way one!
