Rannafast Cup:
Congratulations to the High School team and management on delivering a huge shock by knocking the favourites Maghera out of the Rannafast Cup in the semi-final. The High School have booked a place in the final against St. Macartan’s making it an all Monaghan line up for the final. Special congratulations to Sean Burns who’s 45th minute goal was the catalyst that drove the team onto victory. The final is tomorrow Friday in Inniskeen with a 7:30pm throw-in. Best wishes to the school and management especially Sean Burns player and clubman Martin Mills joint manager. Hope to see a good crowd from Corduff in Inniskeen on Friday night showing your support for the High School.
Ladies:
The Corduff Ladies season came to an end last week when the seniors bowed out to O’Neills in the League semi-final. A massive thanks is extended to all who were involved during the 2015 season especially the management team of Declan Kernan, Pete Cassidy and Dermot Hand for their commitment throughout the season. Thanks also to our regular first aiders Mary Callan and Mary Finegan. And to our new Senior sponsor Apache Pizza Carrickmacross we extend our gratitude.
Fundraiser:
The action may have finished on the pitch but behind the scenes we are planning our next fundraiser, our annual raffle. Tickets will be on sale in O’Gormans Market Square Centre next Saturday 28th November and cards will also be distributed to players. As always your support will be gratefully appreciated.
