Congratulations to Monaghan Minors on winning the Damien Reid Cup on Saturday in Darver Co. Louth especially to the Corduff players Fergal Hanratty, Killian Hand and Sean Burns who were on the team.

In a very foggy Aughnamullen last Sunday Corduff played Killanny in the Division 3 Final. Killanny were first on the scoreboard in the second minute followed by a Corduff score. By mid way through the half Corduff were 5 points ahead but Killanny launched a comeback and by the half time whistle both teams were level on a score line of 1-05 each. Directly after the restart Killanny smashed home a goal setting them up for an impressive second half . Scores were hard earned by Corduff while Killanny’s dominance continued as they eased to victory on a scoreline of Killanny 3-10 to Corduff 1-8. The team was Alana Kernan(Captain), Naoise Cunningham ,Dearbhla Callan, Eibhlin Clinton, Niamh Callan, Sarah McEnaney, Hannah Finegan, Chloe Finnegan, Eva Woods, Sadhbh Cassidy, Elena McEnaney, Keely Mee, Jessica McMahon,Ellie Comiskey and Amy Marron. Well done to the team and management Pete Cassidy, Declan Kernan and Dermot Hand on putting in a huge effort and commitment all season and on reaching the final. Also thanks to the first aiders Mary Callan and Mary Finegan and to all the loyal supporters who supporters the team throughout the League campaign.

Wedding bells rang for Senior player Colleen Callan and Kieran Mooney when they tied the knot last Friday in Corduff.The ladies club would like to wish them a long life of good health and happiness together in the future.
