Next weeks jackpot is €5,200! The draw takes place every Saturday night in the clubhouse where tickets are also available for sale.
McElvaneys Waste & Recycling IFC: Hard Luck to our Senior team who lost out in the semi-final of the championship against Carrickmacross last Saturday. The lads put in a very strong performance but lost by a single point scoring 2-11 to Carricks 1-15. You can read full report elsewhere. U12s: Hard Luck to our U11s who were defeated in the semi-final of the BC Tournament on Saturday in Emyvale.
U10s: Our final blitz for the U10s will take place this Saturday morning from 10 – 11.30 in Tyholland. Everyone welcome.
Juvenilles: There is a meeting being held tonight Thursday at 8pm for anyone interested in helping out or coaching our juvenilles. We would appreciate a good turnout.
Fundraising Draw: We have decided to postpone the Fundraising Draw until Halloween (exact date tba). All books handed out are now to be returned sold or unsold so we can try to sell on any remaining tickets. We are asking for as much support as possible in these final few weeks, remember every ticket you sell is contributing to the development of your club. Don’t forget if you have a spare evening during the week to go out with some of the hard working ticket sellers give Paddy or Darren a call.
Tyholland Jerseys: If you are interested in ordering a replica Tyholland Senior jersey please contact Paddy on 087 2231310. They are available to order before Saturday 3rd October and payment must be made in full when ordered. A number of choice can be put on it. They are available from 0-6 months up to adult 2XL and range in price from €25 to €40.
Scor: Scor na bPaisti will be held in October in Threemilehouse and is open to members of Tyholland GFC at Primary School level. We will be taking part in it this year with an Irish Dancing Group, Quiz Team and Grupa Ceoil and the youngsters are training very hard for the event.
Bowls: The Tyholland Bowls club are back in the swing of it again and meet up Tuesdays at 8.30. New members are always welcome so come along and give it a try!
