Lotto: There was no winner of last week’s jackpot prize of €5,600  The numbers drawn were: 13, 14, 20 and 23.  No Jackpot Winner, No Match 3s. 4 Lucky Dips: Lisa Curran, c/o Mickey Brady, Anna Rose McClave, Liskenna, Anthony McKenna, Drumcondra, Kieran McKenna, Corryarabeg.  Sellers prize: Josie Brady (Weekly) and Margaret Counihan (Yearly).Next week’s jackpot is €5,700.

 

Co. Monaghan Credit Unions SFL:  Our senior team drew with Magheracloone at St. Mellans on Sunday last, on a scoreline of 1.11 a piece.

 

Senior Football Championship: We play Donaghmoyne in the preliminary round of the championship this Saturday 22nd August at 5.30pm in Castleblayney.  This is the first game of a double header in Castleblayney, with Scotstown v Inniskeen on at 7pm.

 

We also host the meeting of Monaghan Harps v Castleblayney in the championship on Sunday 23rd August at 1.30pm in St. Mellans. Car parking assistance required.

 

Platinum Tanks RFL Div 1A: No date confirmed for the Reserve B Final. Check club notes next week for details.

 

Juveniles

Congratulations: to the five representatives from the club who were part of the winning Monaghan Team which retained the Buncrana Cup last weekend. Well done boys.

Nursery Training: Continues tonight (Thursday) at 7pm to 8pm. We would ask if all parents of U6’s could stay for the hour to help in the supervision.

 

Boot Camp: Continues in St. Mellans on a Monday and Wednesday evening from 7-8pm, €4 per person. Men and women welcome. 

 

Hurling:

U14s: play Inniskeen in the Shield Semi Final tomorrow night, Friday 21st at 7pm in St. Mellans.

Seniors: play Inniskeen in the semi final of the league on Sunday 23rd August at 12noon in Inniskeen.  We drew with Carrickmacross last Thursday in an entertaining contest.

New arrival: Congratulations to senior player Niall McQuillan and his wife Karen on the birth of their baby boy.

 

Lost Items: A number of juvenile tops have been left behind after training in St. Mellans.  These are on display in the old dressing rooms. Please collect before the end of August or items will be sent to the charity shop.
