Ned Run

The 5th Annual Ned Run took place on Friday evening. In perfect conditions over 550 took part with Caoimhin Kelly winning the Mens Section and Donna Evans winning the Ladies. Scotstown won the recreational final with a good win over Eire Og. We would like to thank everyone who was involved and made this event possible. Thank you also to everyone to attended or contributed in any way.

 

All Ireland Quarter Final

Hard luck to to Cian, Darren, Kieran, Rory and Shane on their loss in Saturdays All Ireland Quarter Final against Tyrone.

 

Co. Monaghan Credit Unions SFL

The seniors  had an excellent 2-12 to 0-9 victory over Magheracloone on Wednesday evening. This Wednesday they play Latton away at 7.30pm and  Monaghan Harps at home on Sunday at 12.30pm.

 

Eurotech JFL

The Juniors lost to Rockcorry on Sunday 1-14 to 2-9 in the league. This weekend switches to championship focus with them taking on Aghabog in the quarter final. Throw in is at 6.30pm in Clontibret.

 

Platinum Tanks RFL

The Reserves will play Truagh in the final of the RFL Division 1. Time and Date TBC.

 

MFL Division 1

Next game is on Tuesday 18th August at home to Clontibret.

 

Gerry’s Prepared Veg U16 Division 1

The U16’s fell short to Truagh 1-17 to 2-6 on Thursday evening. They now must play Aughnamullen in a play-off to with the winner progressing to play Truagh in the league final.

 

Gerry’s Prepared Veg U14 Division 1

The U14’s play Inniskeen at home on Thursday at 7.30pm.

 

Gerry’s Prepared Veg U12 Leagues

The Division 5 team were defeated by Emyvale in the shield semi final 9-9 tp 2-1. The Division 1 team play Clontibret this Saturday at 12 noon in Clontibret in the Division 3 semi final.

 

Minor Girls

Their next fixture is away to Magheracloone on August 17th.

 

U16 Girls

Their next game is away to Carrickmacross on Friday August 14th at 7pm where a win would secure a semi final place.

Help Needed

We are hosting a double header in the Intermediate Championship this Sunday with Currin v Cremartin at 5 and Emyvale v Clones at 7. There is a big crowd expected so we need help with stewarding etc. If you wish to help please be at the pitch at 3pm.
