Under 16

Our u16’s exited the championship on Thursday evening last in Emyvale to the the home side……a slow start saw us fall 6 behind after 15 mins but a strong rally from our boys saw us lead by 1 at half time……the game see sawed over and back until 10 Mins to go when Conor Grimes put us 3 ahead with a well taken goal,unfortunately that was to be our last score,while Emyvale was to score 1-2,the goal coming late in the game with not much time left for a comeback.Good performances from Cillian Collins, Dean Connolly and Conor Grimes but we were just not good enough on the day.Training continues Mon night at 7.30 and we are at home to Clones in the league onThursday evening at 7.30….

Under 12

The U12’s were away to Clontibret last Thursday evening. There wasn’t much between the teams for most of the first half with Daire  O’Shea scoring two fine goals for Killanny. However Clontibret scored a goal just before half time which left them leading at half time by 5 points.  Killanny scored some fine points in the second half but were unable to get the goals they needed thanks to Clontibret’s defending. The game finished on a scoreline of Clontibret 5-9 Killanny  2-9.
