Monaghan Senior Team: The Monaghan team bowed out of this year Championship last Saturday in Croke Park. Well done to all involved in the Senior Set Up this year and huge Congratulations on ending the Year as Ulster Champions. Well done to our own Ryan Mc Anespie who played his part in the success this year.

 

Handball: Another of our handballers, Pete Larkin heads off to Calgary, Canada today to take part in the World Handball Championships so we wish him the best of luck in his competitions.

 

Upcoming Fixtures:  This coming Sunday 16th Aug Emyvale v Clones in the Intermediate Football Championship Round 1A Throw Inn 7:00 PM in Scotstown

 

Juveniles: The Tully GAA Summer Camp is back this year and runs from Monday 17th August to Friday 21st August. Camp starts each morning at 9.30am and finishes at 1.30pm. It is open to all children from the age of 6yrs to 12yrs old. The first child costs €30, second child €25 & third child €20. Please contact Aine on 085 1400186 to register.

U-8 Next official Go Games Blitz TBC.

 

U-10 Next official Go Games Blitz is scheduled for Saturday 22nd August.

 

U-12 Division 5 team came away with a win in the Shield semi-final on Wednesday 5th August versus Scotstown, they now progress to meet Carrickmacross in Shield Final this Saturday 15th August with time & venue still to be confirmed. Please come along and show your support.

 

U-12 Division 1 team were defeated by Monaghan Harps in the Shield semi-final on Friday 7th August,  which brings us to the end of U 12 Division 1 competitive football for the year. Well done to the players, managers, coaches, mentors and parents for their commitment throughout the year.

 

A Croke Park Activity Day has being organised for players who are 12 years of age (born 2003). Monaghan and three other counties from Ulster will be represented with each club sending two players. Ben Sherry & Darcy Colleran will represent Emyvale GAA when this event takes place on Monday 17th August and hopefully they will have a brilliant day.

 

U-14 played against Magheracloone away on Tuesday evening. This also play a home match tonight Thursday 13th August against Toome with a throw in time of 7.30pm. Final game of the league is scheduled for 12pm on Saturday 22nd August at home against Donaghmoyne. Training every Monday & Wednesday in Tully from 7 – 8pm.

 

U-16 played Killanny away on Thursday 6th August coming away with a hard fought victory, this result means they finished third in the league and they will progress to play in the league semi-final at a time & dated still TBC. They also play Magheracloone in the Championship Final on Thursday 27th August, the throw in time for that fixture is 7.15pm with the venue still TBC. Training continues on Monday evening 8 – 9:30pm.
