Seniors:

This Saturday evening our Seniors take on Truagh in Castleblayney in the Greenfield Foods Senior Football Championship. Throw in is at 5.30 in Castleblayney on Saturday evening. Come down to support the team as they look to get a much needed win under their belts.

Minors:

Our Minors season continued last  week as the lads were in Championship action when they took on St. Pats in the Semi  Final. This was a very enthralling encounter between two very evenly matched teams. St. Pats had the better of the opening exchanges as they went into an early lead, one which they didn’t hold for long as Donaghmoyne got a good foothold on the game. Without playing overly well the lads managed to keep their noses firmly in front and at full time this proved to be the case as the lads booked their place in this years County Final for the second year in a row. Well done to all players and management. The hard work only starts now however as the first of this years deciders takes place next Tuesday evening when the lads face either St. Pats or Magheracloone in the Division One League Final. Throw in will be at 7 o clock, venue and opposition however are yet to be decided. Please refer to the official fixture lists for the official fixture. One way or another get out and support the minors next tuesday as they look to take home a first piece of silverwear for the year.

U14s:

Last Thursday evening our U14s faced Truagh away from home in the U14 league. This was a very tough game played on a warm evening in Truagh. Donaghmoyne had to battle hard to reep rewards in this one and thankfully they did so as they continued their good run of form of late and went on to claim a good win. This result leaves them second in the league with one game to play which all but guarentees their place in the league semi final. This Saturday morning the lads take on Emyvale away from home in their final league game. Throw in is at 12 o clock in Emyvale on Saturday. Make the trip on Saturday to get behind the team as they look to continue their good run of form of late.

U12s:

On Wednesday evening our U12 A team faced neighbours Carrickmacross in the Division One League Final in Magheracloone.  See next weeks notes for the result. Best wishes to all the players and management.

Mini Fontenoys:

Mini Fontenoys training continues in Donaghmoyne this Saturday morning. Training is from 11 to 12, weather permitting
