Platinum Tanks RLF  Division 1A: v Latton in the semi final tomorrow evening, Friday 24th July at 7.45pm in St. Mellans.

U21s: We exited the competition at the hands of Magheracloone last Friday evening.

Minors: We played Monaghan Harps in the championship quarter final last Tuesday 21st July.  Our next league game is away to St. Patricks next Tuesday 28th July at 7.30pm.

Well done: to the Monaghan team who reclaimed the Anglo Celt Cup in last weekends Ulster Final.

Festival of Football: A great spectacle of football was on show in St. Mellans last Saturday evening for our Legends game.  Recently retired inter county stars from Ulster took on those from the Rest of Ireland in a game to test Brolly’s Rules.  Ulster ran out comfortable winners despite a late flurry of scores from the Rest of Ireland, who were inspired by our own local legend ‘Aidan Kerr’.

The Final Countdown Chatshow completed our days activities.  A full house listened to the views of our panel of experts which included Matt Connor, Brian Mullins, Conor Mortimer, Declan Bogue and our own Nudie Hughes.

A big thanks to all who helped out over the weekend.

Big Breakfast: Thank you to everyone who attended our Big Breakfast last Sunday in what was a great success.

Catering Committee: Volunteers needed to help out with catering at St. Mellans. Please contact Bronagh on 0876749872 or email secretary.truagh.monaghan@gaa.ie
