Mageracloone Notes

Lotto Results. The numbers drawn in the Club Lotto on Monday, 20th July were 1, 2, 8 and 17. The Jackpot was not won this week. The four winners in the Lucky Dip were Paddy Farrelly, Shercock, Keith Gilsenan, (D. D.), Caroline Hughes and Ryan Jones. The next draw will take place in the clubrooms on Monday, 27th July and the Jackpot will be 5,000 euro.

 

Results.  The continued success of the county senior team means that the club championship and league programme have been put on hold for the next few weeks. The Reserve game which was due to be played at the week-end was conceded by Scotstown and the points were awarded to Magheracloone.

 

Under-21 Championship. Magheracloone hosted Truagh in the semi-final of this competition last week and came out on top with the final score reading Magheracloone 4-12 to Truagh’s 1-5. The final is due for decision on this Friday in Killanny. All support would be appreciated as this young team attempt to add to Magheracloone’s haul of silverware for 2015.

 

Under-16.  The Under-16 team came out on top in this clash of league which was held in Magheracloone on Thursday evening. The home team were always on top in this encounter and emerged victorious on a score-line of 7-14 to 2-4.

 

Under-14.   Donaghmoyne proved to be the stronger outfit in the clash with Magheracloone and claimed the points on offer. The final score was Donaghmoyne 3-10 and Magheracloone 2-6. The team are still in a strong position in the league table and will be hoping to return to winning in their encounter.

 

 

 

Fixtures.

 

Under-21 Division final. The final of the Division One competition at Under- 21 level will take place in Killanny on this Friday evening. The opposition will be provided by Donaghmoyne and the game will throw in at 7.45. Please come out to support this young team in its efforts to bring more silverware to the club.

 

Under-16 Championship.   The semi-final of the Division Two Championship at Under-16 level has been fixed for Magheracloone on this Thursday evening. The opposition will be provided by Clones and the game begins at 7.30.

 

Under-6 Challenge,  Near neighbours, Corduff will provide the opposition in an Under-6 challenge in Magheracloone on this Saturday morning. The game begins at 10.30 and all players are asked to be on the field by 10.15.
