Seniors:

Our seniors travelled to Carrick on Sunday afternoon. With this as a star game and a number or injuries this made this result all the sweeter. It took Doohamlet a while to get a hold of this game and eventually got on the scoreboard with a Barry Mc Ginn free, further points by Mc Ginn and Barry Mc Bennett left it at half time Doohamlet 0-5, Carrick 0-6. A Barry Mc Ginn free levelled the scoring early in the second half, Carrick registered with 3 unanswered points and then a goal by Jamie Walshe in the 48th minute level it up again. Carrick got another point to leave them with a slender lead with 10 minutes left. A Micheal Marray point in the 59th minute levelled the scoring again, Carrick registered another point, but a Barry Mc Ginn free in the dying minutes meant that both temas had to share the points. It finished Doohamlet 1-9, Carrick 0-12.
