Seniors:

On Sunday last Currin entertained Drumhowan in Scotshouse in the I.F.L. The visitors began brightly and with Currin hitting seven first half wides we trailed at half time on a score-line of 0-4 to 1-7. In the second half with Eoin Morrow commanding in the middle of the field and with our backs restricting the opposition to only two scores, one 45 and one free, in the entire half it was a game of the ‘proverbial’ two halves. We welcomed back Jack Mc Carron from injury with the biggest cheer of the day, with eighteen minutes to go and he proceeded to lead us home in a tense finish, to deservedly win by a point. Final score, Currin 1-10 Drumhowan 1-9. Team and scorers, Fergal Connolly, Dara Brady, Sean Brady, Colm Mc Caffrey, Paddy Mc Dermott, Conor Mc Caffrey, 0-1, Ronan King, Eoin Morrow, Ciaran Mc Caffrey,0-1, Johnny O Connor, 0-1, Stephen Smith, (0-2), Enda Mc Caffrey, 0-1, Niall Mc Entee, (0-2), Cian North, Dylan Greenan, 0-1. Subs used, Jack Mc Carron, 1-1. Well done to all on a super second half display and we now go into a deserved break after this excellent win.

Ulster Final

All roads lead to Clones for the third Ulster final in a row for Monaghan. We wish Dick and Jack all the best on Sunday. It’s great to have our club involved at the highest level yet again. Also well done to Breda our secretary for her efficency in distributing the tickets.
