Results. In the Senior Football League, the Magheracloone team claimed the points in an important clash against Inniskeen on Sunday afternoon last. In a tight game, both teams played their best football when facing the strong, wintry wind. Magheracloone proved to be the stronger outfit in the second and came out on top on a score-line of 0-14 to 1-9. The team will be hoping to build on this performance for the upcoming away clashes to Clontibret and the previously postponed game with Monaghan Harps. Another win or two would move the team towards the top of the table and would position them well for the second half of the league.

Under-12 News. The Division One clash with Donaghmoyne in the Under-12 league in Magheracloone proved to be a high-scoring encounter with the visitors coming out on top on a score-line of 2-11 to 4-8. Despite this defeat, the team are still in a position to finish high in the league and will be looking forward to their upcoming fixtures.
