Seniors:Our seniors hosted Aughnamullen on Saturday eveninig. Conditions were far from perfect for this game, Doohamlet opened the scoring with a Colin Walshe point. Aughnamullen responded with a goal and 2 points. Darren Connolly kicked an excellent point and 2 goals by Niall Connolly gave us a slender advantage at half time 2-2 to 1-4. The second half was going to go down to the final whistle. Barry Mc Bennett opened our account with a fine point from a free, further points by Darren Connolly and Barry Mc Bennett kept us well in this game. The introduction of Paul Mc Ardle and Ciaran Mc Manus made a massive difference, Paul Mc Ardle kicked a great point to narrow the gap. In the dying minutes we put them under alot of pressure and patience paid of with a point by Barry Mc Bennett gave us a deserved draw on a scoreline of 2-9 to 2-9. U12,s had a good win on Saturday.
