The Under 10’s travelled to Cloghan on Saturday last to participate in a competitive Go Games Blitz and found themselves in a middle of a storm and a very tough group. These hardy warriors put on a terrific show not letting weather or opposition deter them. The competition was abandoned part way through due to the conditions but everyone enjoyed the day. Special thanks to Oisin and Eimear who helped coach the team on the day.

Under 8’s: The under 8’s travel to Cloghan on Saturday next for a Go Games Blitz

Under 6 and under 10 training as usual this week. All new members welcome.

The under 14’s travelled to Carrickmacross last Saturday but lost out on the day . They also travelled to Inniskeen on Tuesday for a Championship semi final, report next week. Well done to Kevin McPhillips who won the County Monaghan Primary Schools boys 800 meters and Megan Agnew who won runners up in the girls 800 meters recently in the Peace Link in Clones, both competing for St Enda’s National School.

The under 12’s travelled all the way to Killanny on Thursday evening last. In a rally close and exciting game, which we led almost from the start, Patrick Sarsfields put in a heroic display and came away with a two point win. Next up is a home game sin Scotshouse on Saturday against Tyholland with a throw in time of 12 noon. With both teams on a 2 wins from 3 games record, this top of the table game could be an important decider. All support appreciated.
