Carrickmacross Hurling Notes

U8 & U10 had a great evening of hurling last Wednesday 17th in Cloghan with teams from Clonitbret, Castleblayney, East Cavan Gael and Mullaghbawn, 37 players travel from the club making up 5 teams, all got plenty of hurling, thanks to all parents that travel down and bring kids to training, well done to all kids, training Sunday morning in Emmet centre 11-30 to 12-30 new kids welcome any time, from neighbour parishes, hurleys and helmets supplied text Gene 0863655877U12 game with Inniskeen was postponed, training is going ahead, text will go out but need all at training,

U14 U14 Our U14 who came home with the county championship cup on Monday evening after beating Castleblayney at Aughnamullen by 3-7 to 2-7 in a great game of hurling, the lads start the game of by showing how hurling should be played, fighting and winning most balls with every player playing his part, the first half finish 2-3 to 0-3 to Carrick, then as the second half start it look like we lay back as Blayney put 1-4 on the board before we got a score, then in the last 15 minutes the lads dug deep and give it all by supporting each other and playing as a team, and came away champions, well done to each and every player, management team, parents for having players at training and traveling to game, and all our supporters, LETS PLAY HURLING
