Lotto: There was no winner of last week’s jackpot prize of €4,400. The numbers drawn were: 06,08,11 and 28. 3 Match 3 winners Ryan Woods, Killycoran May Mc Givern, Aughnacloy, Vincent Mc Cooey, Derrykinneighmore, Sellers prize: Joe Mc Meel (Weekly) Josie Brady (yearly). Next week’s jackpot is €4,500.  

Seniors: Our Co.Monaghan Credit Unions SFL fixture away to Castleblaney took place yesterday (Wednesday)27th May at 7.45pm. Our next fixture is away to Donaghmoyne next Wednesday 3rd June at 8pm.

 

Reserve Bs: Platinum Tanks Reserve Championship O Duffy Cup: We played Scotstown in the quarter final on Saturday past and suffered a defeat on a scoreline of 1-08 to 0-07. Our next RFL fixture is at home to Latton on 5th June at 8pm.

 

Reserve Cs:. Our Platinum Tanks Reserve Championship Crawley Cup game v Eire Og took place last Wednesday in Smithborough and resulted in a victory for us on a scoreline of 2-13 to 2-16, we play away to Donaghmoyne in the semi-final on Sunday 7th June at 3pm. Our RFL match v Blackhill took place yesterday (Wednesday) 27th at 8pm,

 

 

Hurling:

 

Senior Hurling League: We beat Clontibret in the DHL last Thursday on a scoreline of 4-14 to 2-05 to secure a semi final place on Thursday 4th of June.

U14’s We play away to Castleblaney this Monday 1st June. Bus leaves St Mellans at 6.30pm

U12’s. We suffered a defeat to Monaghan Harps on Monday.

U8/U10 Training continues on Friday in Carrickroe at 6.30pm   

 

 

Nursery Training: Continues tonight (Thursday) at 7pm to 8pm. We would ask if all parents of U6’s could stay for the hour to help in the supervision.

 

Boot Camp: Continues in St. Mellans on a Monday and Wednesday evening from 7-8pm, €4 per person. Men and women welcome.

Senior Ladies

Well done to the minor girls who started their league campaign with a great win over St Brigid’sBallybay. 

Training for minor and seniors continues tonight at 8.30pm.

Keep free the Saturday the 13th of June as we are running our Peader Mc Geogh memorial tournament in St Mellans.

Good luck to all girls sitting their Leaving and Junior Certificate examinations.

 

U14/U16 Girls

Our U-14 girls played away to Carrickmacross in the league recently. After a slow start in the opening quarter our girls produced some great passages of play up to half time. The second half was a more even contest but unfortunately we lost some influential players through injury during this period and ended up on the wrong side of a 7 points defeat. Team – Siobhan Coyle, Emma McAree, MeabhMcCluskey, Shannon Kelly, Colleen Mc Gee, Tara McMeel, Ethna Boyle (0-2), Mia O Reilly (0-3), ClodaghMcMeel (1-2), AoibhinnTreanor, Leona Treanor, Aoife Tierney, Eve McKenna (0-1), CaoimheMcCaffrey, Cara Helferty.

 

Our next U-14 game is home to Eire Og this coming Monday 1st June 2015. All support will be welcome.

U12 Girls

U12 training is on Thursday night from 7-8 and the girls play their first league game on Wednesday the 3rd of June against Monaghan Harps at 7pm in Harps. Good luck to all girls who sit their leaving and junior examinations next week.

U12/U10 Girls training continues every Tuesday and Thursday from 7 – 8 in St Mellans

 

Club Shop: Club shop is open every Thursday evening between 7:30pm and 9pm.
