Doohamlet Notes

May 11th, 2015

Reserves:

We hosted Drumhowan in the reserve league. Drumhowan started well with an early goal but Doohamlet responded with points by Barry Mc Bennett and Damien Ward. Two goals by Mark Murphy and Barry Mc Bennett helped us to a lead of 2-4 to 1-2 at half time. The second hald was tough and physicla as what you would expect in a local derby game. Drumhowan tried to claw their way back, some fine points by Shane Mc Manus and a goal by Shane kept us 5 points ahead goint into the last few minutes. A late sorge by Drumhowan in the dying minutes put plenty of pressure on us but we held on tight and won by 3-8 to 2-8.
