Seniors:

With no game last weekend Currin took part in the Lisnaskea GFC, ‘Ogie 7’s’, tournament on Saturday. This tournament was held in memory of Brian Og Maguire and we were delighted to be involved. We play Clones in Clones this Saturday evening at 7.00pm. Please note change of date. Best wishes to Ben why underwent that dreaded ‘ACL op’ earlier in the week.

Youth Affairs

Under 6’s, Under 8’s, and Under 10’s.

Training continues on Saturday mornings from 9:30 to 10:30. Currin had to withdraw from the ‘Go Games’ for Under 10’s last week in Rockcorry due to there not being enough players to travel. However Oisin McPhillips travelled and refereed four games at the blitz.
Under 12’s

Patrick Sarsfields play Scotstown in Scotstown on Saturday at 1:15pm. Meeting and travel arrangements will be sent by text.
Under 14’s

The Under 14’s Patrick Emmetts played a very entertaining game against Carrickmacross last Saturday in Scotshouse and came away with a two point win on a scoreline of 5-11 to 7-03.
Exams

Good luck to all of the young people in the area who are starting their exams next week.

Ladies Inter-provincial football.

Congratulations to Ellen Mc Carron on her success with Ulster in the MMI group Interprovincial championship at the weekend. Well done on a ‘four in a row’. That’s special, as the Monaghan ladies will testify.

Ulster Championship

Monaghan had a great win over neighbours Cavan last Sunday in Breffni Park in the Ulster senior championship. This was yet another great day for Currin G.F.C. and Dick Clerkin, who once again contributed significantly to a well deserved and hard fought win.
