Lotto: There was no winner of last week’s jackpot prize of €3,600.  The numbers drawn were: 08, 09, 13 and 20. Match 3 winners were Martin Kilpatrick, Scotstown, OJ Sheridan, The Sticks, Glaslough and James Treanor, Mullaghcor. Sellers prize (Weekly)Josie Brady (yearly) Josie Brady. Next week’s jackpot is €3700. 
 
Come Dine With Me:  There has been a great response to our fundraiser. We are still looking for volunteers to host a party in your own home on Saturday 18th April 2015, we will supply the  food for your party.  Dancing afterwards in St. Mellan’s.  Draw for hosts takes place on the night, first prize a weekend away for 2.  Call Kevin on 0866030670 or Kieran on 0862117933 or any committee member for more details. Come along for a great night of entertainment.
 
Seniors: Our next league game is on 12th April away to Inniskeen at 2pm.  Please note that this fixture is subject to Monaghan’s involvement in the National Football League and may be changed pending the outcome of Sunday’s match v Dublin.
 
Reserve Bs: Our fixture against Clontibret last Sunday resulted in a draw on a scoreline of Truagh 0-09 Clontibret 1-06. Our next league game is at home to Scotstown this Saturday 4th April at 6pm.
 
Minors: We were due to play away to Donaghmoyne last Tuesday.  Our next game is away to Clontibret next Tuesday 7th April at 6.45pm.
 
Hurling:
Our hurling club get thier season underway this weekend, fixtures as follows:
Development Hurling League: v Monaghan Harps this evening (Thursday 2nd April) at  7pm in St. Mellans. 
Senior Hurling League: v Clontibret on Thursday 9th April at 7pm.  
Minor Hurling League: v Inniskeen on Sunday 5th April at 12noon.
 
Presentation Night: Keep free Saturday 25th April for our annual Presentation Night.
 
Juveniles:
U12 Boys: Training continues on Mondays from 6.45pm to 8pm, next game is away to drumhowan at 2pm
 
U14 Boys: Hard luck to the boys who suffered a defeat against Magheracloone last Saturday.
 
U8/10s: Training continues this Thursday @6pm

Ladies Football: 
 
Senior Ladies
The reserve team had a great win on Saturday last against Monaghan Harps, a great team performance by all. Well done girls. The senior team have a their second league game this Sunday against Corduff. Kick off 5pm in St Mellans. Training continues every Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening. Check group message for start times. 
 
U-14/U-16 Girls
Wishing good luck to Niamh, Lauren, Meghan & Morgan and the rest of the Monaghan Ladies county U-16 team and their management team when they take on Derry in the Ulster championship this weekend.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Cara Treanor who picked up a longterm leg injury recently.

Training for both above age groups continues as per coaches.

 
U12
No training this Thursday. Training resumes on Saturday from 1-2pm. Well done to the u12 girls who travelled up to Magheracloone to support the Monaghan ladies against Galway.
