Platinum Tanks RFL Div 2A – Due to a  bereavement the RFLv Seáns  game scheduled for last Sunday 29th March  was cancelled and it took place last night Wednesday 1st April. Please check social media for a result. The reserves will be out once again this Saturday evening the 4th of April  with a throw in time of 6pm. This time the opposition will be Rockcorry with the game being played in Rockcorry.


 MFL Div 1 – St Patrick’s minor team made the long journey to Magheracloone last Tuesday the 31st of March   where they took on the locals. Please check social media for a result. Next Tuesday the 7th of April they have a home game in Drumhowan against Carrickmacrosss with a throw in time of 6.45pm  


Gerry’s Prepared Veg Under 16 –  The first league game takes place next Thursday April 9thwith an away game in Scotstown with a throw in time of 6.30pm 
 
Gerry’s Prepared Veg Under 14 –  Drumhowan 5-9 Emyvale 6-5  A goal in the last minute by Aodhán Brennan secured a one win point win for the boys on Saturday last the 28th of March  after an exciting clash between two well matched teams. Emyvale came out of the blocks quicker and took the lead early on. However our boys responded well in the second half and the lead changed hands on numerous occasions. We now take on the same opposition in the championship on this Thursday evening the 2nd of April in Emyvale at a 6.15pm start. A Bus will depart Tullycorbett hall at 4.50pm. This will be a 15 a side game played on the full adult pitch. All support welcome for this crucial game with the winners taking on Donaghmoyne away on Saturday  the 11th of April.

Gerry’s Prepared Veg Under 12 – Truagh at home at 2pm on this Saturday are the opposition in the second game in the Spring league. Again we ask for good support for the team.

 

Under 10 –  Go Games will commence on Saturday 11th April with a blitz in Sean Mc Dermotts at 10am.
 
Under 6-8  – No Training on next Monday evening due to the bank holiday.
 

Farney Easter Camp takes place in Ballybay for 3 days from 7th to 9th April 10am to 2.30pm. Its open to boys and girls aged 5 to 12 years old. Each child will receive  a Monaghan hoodie and the cost is €40 for first child and €35 for other family members. Please see Monaghan GAA website for more details and application form.
 

Topaz Cash for Clubs – Drumhowan are now registered for this initiative. Our registration number is 11137. When you fill up at any Topaz station please ask for a card that will be stamped every time you receive €40 worth of fuel. We have to the 10th of May to collect 300 cards. Lets get going. Get your families and friends involved. Keep collecting cards and when you have a few filled please return them to Topaz , Blayney or to PRO Noel. Closing date is the 10th of May.​

Sympathy – The Club would like to offer it’s sympathy to Francis Gerard Duffy and his family on the death of his sister Margaret O’ Rourke, Stonebridge.  We would also like to offer our condolences to the Cleary family, Drumlane on the death of their mother Mary Ellen.  Finally we remember in our prayers Tadhg Mc Elearney – uncle of our chairman, Martin Mc Elearney
