Lotto: There was no winner of last week’s jackpot prize of €3,200.  The numbers drawn were: 5, 7, 9 and 24. There were two match 3 winners, Enda McQuillan, Deravoy and Kevin Treanor, Derrykinnard.  Seller’s prizes: Eilish Treanor (Yearly) and Rossmore (Weekly). Next week’s jackpot is €3,300. 


Seniors: We won our Ulster League game vs St. James last weekend on a scoreline of 2.9 to 0.8.  Our next game is against Ardboe this evening, Thursday 5th March at 8pm in Garvaghey, Co. Tyrone.   


Reserve Bs: Our B Team get their league campaign off to a start this Sunday 8th March at home to Magheracloone at 3.30pm.  


Minors: Our minors begin their season at home to St. Patrick’s this Saturday 7th March at 2.30pm


Traditional Night: with the Blackwater School of Music on Saturday 7th March at 8pm in St. Mellans.  All other singers, musicians and dancers welcome. ​

Membership: Membership is now due for the coming year.  Please contact Gerard on 0874114530 for more information. Adults – €20, Students – €25, Juveniles (u8-u18, born 2007 to 1997) ;- €20 per child to a max of €50 per family. Closing date for registration is 22nd March 2015.  


Senior Scor: Best of luck to our Ballad Group, who take part in the Senior Scor Ulster Semi-Final this Saturday 7th March in Killeshandra, Co. Cavan at 7.30pm.  All support welcome.


Night of Irish Culture: Come along to St. Mellans on Sunday 15th March to enjoy a night of Irish Culture. There will be ‘Ag Caint Gaeilge’ in the social area from 6pm-8pm, everyone welcome, parents and children alike. There will be games for the children.  ​The only condition is that you must converse ‘as Gaeilge’. A trad. session will follow in the front bar from 8pm onwards. All welcome.

Well done to all girls who took part in the Crossmaglen sevens on Saturday.

Well done to Monaghan ladies team who had a great win over Laois on Sunday.

Training continues every Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening. Check group message for start times. 

 

U14/U16 GIRLS

Well done to U-12/U-14 player Mia O Reilly who represented our club in the guard of honour at the Monaghan V Cork Ladies NFL game last week.

 

Training for all U-14 & U-16 girls will be taking place every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7pm to 8pm in St Mellans, commencing on Tuesday 10th March. All girls wishing to play for either of the above age groups are asked to please attend training, as competition for both teams is due to commence very soon.
