Lotto Results. The numbers drawn in the Club Lotto on Monday23rdMarch were 4, 1214 and 28The Jackpot was not won this week. The four winners in the Lucky Dip were Ollie Malone, Meath-hill, Ryan Jones, Tonaneave, Catriona Cassidy, Nobber and Noel Cooney, The Porter House. The next draw will take place in the clubrooms on Monday, 30th March and the Jackpot will be 3,300 euro.

 

Senior League.  The senior league fixed for last Saturday evening in Latton was postponed as a mark of respect for the late Mrs. Maureen McEnaney, Corduff. The game will be refixed for a date later in the year.

Owing to the county team’s participation in the National League the next fixture is not due for play until the 12th April when the team make the journey to play Monaghan Harps.

 

Reserves.  The reserve team campaign continues this week-end with a trip to Latton on Sunday afternoon. This game has a 2.00 p.m. throw-in.

 

Minor League.  Magheracloone will play in Division One of the minor league in 2015. The first game was played in Carrickmacross on Tuesday afternoon and Magheracloone came out on top on a score-line of 4-4 to 0-9. No details of next week’s game are available at present.

 

Under-14.  Magheracloone’s Under –14 team will have their next outing on Saturday 28th versus Truagh. This game is scheduled to start at 2.00 p.m. in Magheracloone.

 

Under-12. The Under-12 competition began on Saturday last with a trip to Monaghan to face Monaghan Harps. After an exciting encounter the two team finished on a score of nine points each. The next game for this set of players is fixed for Saturday April 4th.

 

Under-10 Training. Training for the Under-10 players has commencedand is continuing each Sunday morning.  Remember that all players   are expected to have gum-shields and football boots.

 

Congratulations.  The Monaghan Under-21 squad got the Ulster campaign off to a winning start with victory over Derry last week. Congratulations to David Kirk and Alan McCahey who are members of this victorious group. We wish them all the best in their upcoming semi- final versus Donegal which has been fixed for Wednesday April 1st.

 

Easter Camp. The Easter Camp will take place again this April in Magheracloone. It will run from the 7th to the 10th from 10.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. each day. Enrolment forms will be distributed through the schools and will also be available on the first day of the camp. The cost of the camp is 40 euro for the first child in each family with a price of 35 euro for each subsequent child in a family. All participants will receive a hoodie. All those attending must bring boots, runners, gumshields, and a packed lunch including a drink.

 

 

Membership 2015. The membership fee for 2015 is now due and can be paid to any executive member. You can also become a member online, which is easy and secure and can be done from the comfort of your own home. Sympathy. The chairman and club members wish to extend their sympathy to the McEnaney family on the death of their mother, Maureen. Maureen’s grand-children, the Kieran family, are very active members of the Magheracloone club and our thoughts are with them at this time. May she rest in peace.
