County matters

Well done to Monaghan on the great win over Donegal last week. Best of luck this Sunday against Derry in Clones. Don’t forget tickets can be purchased for €10 in the days prior to the game. Also best of luck to our Ladies who entertain Mayo in Blackhill.

Peter Sherry, R.I.P.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the sudden and untimely death of Peter Sherry, former Chairman of Monaghan Co Board who died suddenly at the Monaghan / Donegal game last weekend. We in Currin G.F.C. extend our sympathy to his sons and daughters, and to his extended family and wide circle of friends. In particular we would like to sympathise with his good friend Philip Mc Kenna who had brought Peter to all Monaghan games far and near and was as usual with him on Sunday last. Go ndéana Dia trócaire ar a anam uasal.
